Fly Fishing Overview
Total Outdoors will introduce future anglers and sportsman to the art of fly-fishing. We will show the students all the different pieces that make up a fly-rod. We will have the students learn the proper knots and how to attach a fly. The instructors will demonstrate casting a fly-rod and teach the students how to cast on their own. After everyone is comfortable we will take a short drive to the creek or our casting ponds that are full of fish. Everyone will catch and release a fish and have their picture taken. During this program Total Outdoors will teach conservation, preservation and learn fishing etiquette. Becoming a good stream steward is the essence of Total Outdoors.
