Fly Tying

As much fun as identifying the insects is tying a fly to "match the hatch" of the day or week. Our instructors will identify all the tools and materials needed to make the various insects. The fun starts when each person ties their very own fly under the supervision of a qualified instructor. We will visit a quality fly shop to show the students the hundreds of flies that are used while fly-fishing. At the end of this day everyone will watch a movie related to fly tying. As it gets dark we will have a chance to sit by the creek and have a campfire and talk about the days events.
